White Papers

Coming Soon – A call for White Papers with Peer Review.

White Papers have typically been used to support the business industry as a medium to explain products and benefits to the consumer.  Academic Research is a product unto itself with the consumer ranging from the solicitations from other academic professionals, to funding institutions.  The use of White Papers are the catalyst in communicating problems and solutions.  The Faculty Research Group on their goal to provide academic fellowship will being accepting White Papers as a medium to communicate Research Topics Initiatives (RTI’s), current Works in Progress (WiP), or applications for platforms and/or systems being used to support the Online Faculty Community.

AUDIENCE:

• Targeted audience: Online Academic Faculty and Administrators

PURPOSE:

• Global perspectives that highlight concerns and problems on topics specific to Online Faculty

FOCUS:

• A Call to Action for White Papers focusing on a need for Research toward online teaching and administration.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A comprehensive discussion that demonstrates a lack of adequate research covering the focus topic.
• Benefits for the specific research being conducted
• Recommendations for  solutions based on other industry standards to assist with solutions until research is conducted.

FORMAT:

Times New Roman, 12 Font,  APA 6th edition, using the FRG writing rules *exception granted ONLY to those individuals who have an advanced degree in English.

PUBLICATION: 

In the spirit of Open Online Access, White Papers will be published for Peer Review and Critiqued online, with an opportunity to publish the paper as part of a Anthology Series promoting online teaching and administration.

CONFERENCES: An online conference to present accepted papers is currently in the works.

SUBMISSIONS:

Submission are open June 1 – Aug 1.
